Workplace age discrimination did not disappear in December 2006, when mandatory retirement was outlawed. The workforce is aging, and both Millennials and Gen Z are clamoring for the Boomers' jobs. This reality is creating some new challenges. Can you provide preferential training or advancement opportunities to younger workers? Can you cut off an older worker's benefits at age 65? Can you exit "expensive" older workers for "cheaper" younger ones? Can you talk about "retirement"?
